Yes, very sad for sure. They were my local go to guys for parts and seldom let me down. Best wishes for Dana and the gang at Florin. JM

It's going to all be shipped to China as scrap metal. Then it will all be slowly sold back in u.s. as very rare nos vintage caterpillar tractor parts.

Moved this thread into the Discussion section. Such a shame Florin closed, the team there has done so much for the preservation of the vintage machines. I believe Dana tried to find someone to take over the business but couldn’t so decided to close. Dana, Dennis et al were always super helpful when I dropped by. A tour of that place was a real treat. So sad more couldn’t be saved, I’m hoping the shelves and shelves of NOS parts in original boxes found a home somewhere.

Hi Deebo,
It all went scrap I got an email last week after I tried to put an order in.
The property was sold a while back and as you said they had tried to sell it as a gig business but no one was interested in buying it. This is what happens when everything is taken for granted and no one cares till it's too late and the boat has sailed.
Regards
Daryl
