I need two of these barbed connector 

What happened is the nipple broke at the base so I'm going to need two

not hard to find at all. still used by cat. still used by other brands too and available from all the hydraulics brands they are SAE j518 Code 61 what is hard to get is the flanges as the modern flanges have gone 4 bolt instead of 2 bolt but the bolt patterns are the same, so a machine shop could make you some. (note the new fittings are ussually crimp on. i havent found any field attachable and cat only have crimp on now the original pn's have been superseeded and now link to crimp type fittings if you take or send a hose to your local dealer they will make you a replacement with crimped ends)

I had to replace a hose on my machine it was no problem just took the old one into the hose mob and they said ah dash 12 code 61 is this new or old cat (new cat fittings are thicker oring flange and need a spacer ring if replacing with aftermarket fittings this is to take higher pressure in the newer machines old machines are the same as aftermarket so no spacer needed) it was done in 20 minutes he recycled my 2 bolt flanges and made up a new hose with aftermarket crimp on fittings
all dash means is the hose id in sixteenths of a inch so dash12 is 3/4 hose(for hydraulics hose). you simply match dash12 hose with dash 12 fittings for that type of hose.

these old girls max out at1500psi so the 2 bolt system works just fine same with the bolt on hose clamps. the hose you want is SAE 100r2 2wire hose also readily available and is the hose for field attachable fittings. adapters are available too to go from modern field attachable such as JIC to code 61. go into your local hose and fittings joint and ask.

if yours are damaged you ccan have them welded or brazed and then machined back it is not like we are working them hard every day. these old girls are in active retirement only.
hell a machine shop could even turn up some new fittings from suitable barstock if you supplied the drawings which is how they were made in the day anyway or even one to copy they are not special steel there just a high grade mild steel.

I got a bunch still connected to hoses. I'll look for the worst hose tomorrow and get back 2you. You don't need clamps, right???  I got clamps too if u need them.

here is a link that has the drawing and dimensions that you could use to have flanges made. they will work with modern day code 61 and classic fittings too as the actual specs haven't changed as part of SAE j518. PLEASE NOTE THE MEASUREMENTS ARE METRIC!

oring fittings are different. there are a couple of different o-ring sealed hydraulic fittings these are sae j518 code61. yes i think they were originally made by anchor corporation for cat.

thanks for that, i'll call the ones i have "antique/vintage anchor o-ring hyd fittings" from 1940'/1950's caterpillar tractors i had. No warranty given or returns allowed.
