Do the parts you have for sale include a starter pinion?
When I removed mine, the gear was missing off the inner end. I also need advice about retrieving the pieces from the clutch housing.
Anything you can tell me would help.

The pinion and sleeve should be in cluch housing you need to removed the cluch inspection cover and checl with light and check too the tread at bottom shaft the could be no more good and the stop was loosed in the shaft and am still have 1 pinion 13 tooths and sleeve.

Sometimes the lifters get rusty from sitting along time and will stick a valve open.

I guess I will find out soon! I don't know how many engines use the same pony as mine but no doubt the parts search will begin soon! D4 7U36219.
