Hello all, I recently purchased the property next door to my home. There is a 1958 Cat dozer sitting on it. I know it was running 16 years ago, but it has parked ever since. I Just listed on Craigslist:

it would be helpful to buyers if you could ascertain if each motor will turn over and not froze

Track pads and sprockets look good from here. Can you get the hour meter reading on it? Left front of the engine below the fuel filter tower. Round spring loaded cap with meter . That also would be helpful.

Hope they drained the water or kept the coolant up to strength. If not, the main and pony have done an “El crackomatic.

Wow, that is very tempting.... especially since it's complete. I don't see any missing parts nor any jury-rigged parts. When does it have to be moved by? I see on goggle maps it's right beside the road so it looks like an easy haul-out

Cheers,
Neil

the front hood mounting bolts have been removed or twisted off. also look at the bottom coolant pipe. looks like a big ol rust hole in it. also doesn't look like it has been in that spot for 16 years. look at the board under the blade.

I think your board is a concrete block.
