You may not be aware (or have given up hope ) but ever so slowly, the Club is working towards making new SIXTY manifolds using patterns from George Logue's estate to offer to the membership through the Reproduction Parts store. The first raw castings are done and finish machining is now in process to my understanding. When that is done, we will have some idea of the cost for each part then start taking orders. We will probably have to undergo a review by Caterpillar TM& L so they can be sure of the product quality.

This was started a while back and some setbacks have occurred along the way. Our chapter has need of some of these pieces for one of our projects so we are interested in this issue.

Stand by and hopefully others can supply more info with when this will finally happen.

Please re-read my post. Some work has been done but agreed it needs to be finished! "Other countries......" perhaps are able to devote more time because they do it for a living while we must work with volunteers. The Club is in need of someone to take over our Reproduction Parts program. Perhaps you want to volunteer?
