Post the serial # which might make it more attractive. It has solid idlers which is a draw. Pony is easy enough to swap out with a running one.

Hey Neil,

Help me out here. I have strongly suggested that D4angelo go take a look. But then he'd have to get a bit dirty working on that pony. He tells me he is going to "get dirty" this Saturday on his D4 pony. I was going to go watch but something came up and we will have to take his word that he actually got dirt/grease on his hands!

There is no way Jan is going to fit into the cockpit of the mighty D4 Angelo - his legs are even longer than yours : ) What did you figure out with the hot start issues Angelo? I'm assuming that's what the pony work is about?

I have to stop looking at those D2s from CA with their unblemished track frames and covers - it's torture!
By the way, Jan, see you in a couple of weeks at chum's

Neil

Oh PLEASE!...we're talking about the guy with a 'spare' pony sitting in his garage! He just LOVES them pony's...I found a D2 lead for him...guy with 11 D2's, some restored, some with DE start...Angelo's say's DE start is "cheating"...sometimes I worry about that boy!
BTW, I'm going with him this Saturday, so you know whose hands will be getting dirty!:biggrin1: I sure hope the coil is the problem with the hot start situation...I hate to see him pout when his hot pony won't start...I know it's hard to believe, but when he gets in that funk, not even food will bring him out of it!

C$$$: Thank you for helping “Pretty Boy” Angelo. We would not dare ruin his manicure. I will gladly donate an electric starter for his pony, as he may get calluses without wearing his seal fur lined gloves. JM

That offer is quite generous of you JM, but he would also consider an electric pony starter 'cheating'! I think he just enjoys 'Pulling' things...people's chains, pranks, his Ford truck, his :censored: or starter ropes! I help him all that I can, but the real 'help' he needs, I simply just can't supply.
