Helping a great friend sell his d4 cable dozer from ww2, spent time on the south pacific,Has root rake, straight blade, run good, had a mechanic out to make sure she is good to go. Two choices, Massachusetts or Washington State. That sure narrows it down!

Based upon the pictures and the fact that the tractor might have been in the South Pacific, I'm going to bet Washington State, rather than Massachusetts.

Hopefully he'll come back with more clarity.

It is a nice dozer. I've always wanted on of those 2T or 5T WWII units with the cable overhead dozer, one drum Letourneau units and Hyster winch. They just seem too handy and look cool, too. I wish it was closer.

Garlic Pete a friend called a few months ago he has a cable D4 in Long Beach he was wanting to sell I think it has been in there family for since the early fiftys . If you think you might be interested I can find out the details and get some pics.
