I'm sorry but I have to say, I wish that the site required a certain number of post/time before a newbie could use for sale/wanted. I don't mean to step on any toes but I've seen allot of first time users posting for sale ads never to return to comment or update there listings. Seems more like a spam post like one finds on so many for sale sites. Also seems like they are just serving themselves using the site to ring there register, never to contribute again.
I'm done ranting

There's some truth to that, though the flip side is that it gives us exposure to stuff that may interest members - yes the member may not contribute anything, but if someone on here winds up getting the tractor because it's exactly what they need then it's still a contribution to the group.
Where I get miffed is when it's someone asking top dollar for something and it's first time post - pretty clear that they're on here solely in the interest of getting the most cash.

I agree with the fact it can bring a piece of equipment to the group that might normally not be able to happen. I know, I don't know all, and don't want to make this a whine statement. I recently spent some time going threw FS/W and found many 1st time posters selling and never returning to update or answer there thread.
I'm done now!

He is in central Indiana based on the area code and telephone number he posted.
Give the guy a break as some people are not Computer/Website savvy plus its not like he has it listed for an outrageous price.

Not coming down on him but I find it hilarious that a person with 5 posts total on this site is complaining about 1st time posters. LOL.

If you check my membership I've been lurking and a member since june of 13. Not interested in going down in flames here, I pointed out a observation on a 1 time posters to FS/W, you have more of them than you think. Over the years as I have lurked and watched for a dozer buy I have attempted to PM the first time posters for info on there machines, it has been about a 50/50 chance I ever hear boo back. Now I know that if "old-iron-habit" was to list on FS/W he would be the first to return info in a timely and professional manner.

Hey OldIronHabit,
Maybe if you can get BoomerBootCamp to confer with you a few plus one times, he can get to the second digit posting rank!!! I wondered the same thing OldIron... Maybe we can appoint him as a director of the club so he can make sure it's run correct!!! We can use some fresh minded thinking...

Hi bboomerbootcamp, Hope we will hear more from you. You are right, I would answer. Some may like it if I would shut up but then whom would they pick on.
How did you come up with your handle?
