Posting this ebay listing for a fellow ACMOC Chapter 3 member, item is not mine I am in no way affiliated with the sale so any questions should be directed to the seller via the auction site. Up for sale are a pair of "New Old Stock" weld on sprocket rims to fit Caterpillar D4. Figured these may be of interest to the members on this bb.

I seem to remember about 4-5 years ago, from the "local" Cat dealer they were around $375 each at that time.

Heck that isn't far from me. I don't ebay so I won't be involved with that. If they don't sell give me a shout if they will fit an early D4 7U.

What I really need to find is new track shoes.

No bids on them as of today Rick. We are having our Minnesota Chapter 3 meeting on Saturday, March 3rd at the Starbuck Munnicipal Airport. Lunch will be served. Potluck desert if you like. Bring the missus and join us if you can. Randy Goeke will be doing a not yet titled presentation. He does a great job, always entertaining and challenging us with interesting Cat topics.

On a Thus? That's what My calendar shows as the 3rd. She will be working I think but I'll see if I can be there.

Rick, there was a typo in Roger's post regarding the meeting date, it is in fact on Saturday, March 5th. I also urge you to attend if your schedule permits, Randy Goeke is the advanced diesel engine instructor at Alexandria Tech in Alexandria, MN, his presentations are always very interesting. One thing he's famous for at the Chapter 3 meetings is bringing a bag load full of broken engine parts and passing them around to see if anybody can guess what caused the failure and instructs everyone on the root failure analysis of each piece. It's actually kind of fun for a room full of gear heads and iron addics.:heh:

As of right now I am planning on attending. Seeing as she works Wen-Sun she won't be there.
