Hi All...I picked up this nice D6 at a small Amish sale in Ephrata, Pa two weeks ago...was listed in the paper as a "D6 Dozer"... The gentleman that owned it said he owned for 20 + yrs.. Was glad that it wasn't going to the scrap yard was
his first question he asked me... everything works good... pony fired right up in 15 degree weather, as did the main engine
steers hard on the right side, only issue.. Thank-you H. Fry D46U

Looks to be about as good as you could ask for. Dozer looks good. Brand new recovered seat.

It really is in nice condition...seat was recovered. it was covered in a shed. all controls work as they should. it just needs worked to loosen it up... no slobber on exhaust..
we don't see them like this around here ... Thank-you H.Fry D46U

That's a great looking machine. Just a word of caution to check the pin and sheave directly above the back of the operators head. On my uncles old worn out D8 he broke the pin and the sheave came down hard and busted his right shoulder up quite badly. Lucky it missed his head as he was crowding the left side of the seat a bit. I was just a 10 year old or so snot nosed kid but remember helping him fix it with him only using his left arm.

That is a great looking RD6, and a fair price too, sometimes it is better to spend a bit more because if you have to tear one of these old girls apart to work on them a $1,000 goes no where.
Enjoy her.
regards
Mike

Fantastic score. You won't find one of them in Australia that tidy that cheap. You will have to excuse my Down Under ignorance but I thought Amish community's didn't have powered machines? Do some Amish guys have different ideas to others?
