I looked for a pair of floor plates for my 7U 10 years ago and couldn't rustle any up. I borrowed a set and made a pattern and made them myself. It was easy to do and I used diamond plate. They look good.

D-4 7U-43159 with 4S dozer and Cat 40 scraper, D-7 3T-1179 with Cat 7S hydraulic dozer, D-7 17A 13,944, D-8 14A-1160 with Cat 8S cable dozer, Cat 12-99E-4433 Grader. All runners and users.

No worries Dan, I'm glad to be able to help. From memory that plate will need (I think) a 5/8" or 3/4" hole about in line with the two bolt holes at the rear of the plate to clear a tranny lid bolt. Once you get it cut and fit it in, you'll see what I mean.

Unfortunately those diagrams don't match what I have. Finally found the part no's in my parts book--left side is 5H 0464 and right side is 5H 0463--right side parts diagram matches my right side floor plate

You might try making your own patterns. In experience at my small potatoes auto body shop, rod building and such I make patterns out of hard paper. I trim the paper until I have a perfect fit and this is with all bolt holes and all bends. Bolt the thing in place to be sure you have a perfect fit. Lay it out on the steel mark it and cut it out. Mark where the bends are and have a shop make them for you or figure a way to make them yourself. This works. Charlie

Dan,
PM me your email address.
I have the drawing of the plate you are after, but the pdf is 900kB and won't upload to this BB.
Also have the .dxf files which you could take to a laser cutting shop if you don't feel up to a bit of cutting and grinding.
Had to do a wee bit of grinding on one of the components after I had them cut but can't remember now which part it was.May have been one of the engine side panels.
