Hey guys I know its a long shot but I would like to try and find a project crawler or dozer project for around a 1000 bucks. I would prefere something larger than a d4, which is the crazy part because there are probably not alot of machines that size to be had for cheap. I thought I would at least ask on the board if any one knew of anything. I know that I probably wouldn't be able to find any Pre-War Cats that cheap but I will consider anything and everything. I have seen a D6 9u on craigslist for 1500 bucks but its in California, so the transport from there is probably out of the question. Any help or info you guys could give would be great. At your price range it will be tuff. I have learned the hard way save up and buy the nicer machine in the next price range as the first price range machine ends up costing more than double:lol:

Location will make a big difference I have some in Iowa

I figured that there wouldn't be much out there in that price range. I'm in Greensboro NC, so east coast would be ideal place for me to find one.

Chrisco thanks for the info, I will certainly keep the D4 in mind, they don't happen to be cable blades or side tanks do they? Do you know any info about the d7's? Like price and condition and such. Thanks for again for the help.

D4's have side tanks, all hyd blades, the D7's come in a various range of models and specs. Please send me an email and i will get you the pics and prices.
