looking for battery box for D-2 . I have the top lid.
I need bottom with the inside grounding /mounting .

Hy Neil,

Their is a cradle for vibration that the battery sets in and that and the box bolts to the fender. the neg. cable is bolt to this inside the box. Thanks for the come back. Ken

My D2 is grounded right to the fender and my D4 is grounded inside the box.

I have a D-2 battery box in fair shape but no lid. It has original light switch and amp meter still on it.
Battery tray is also in it. $50 plus shipping. Attached are some photos.

oooophs forgot to upload tray photo. Bottom is good but bolts are poor
