There is a guy here in south east Wyoming that sold his property and has 14 days to have everything removed for closing. He has a DW21 twin stack with pan. He mentioned to me that he is going to bring in a scrapper to cut it up in a week or so. I will be going to look at it tonight. He says that it runs and drives. Pony runs but it has a few carb issues so he pull starts it. The pan is with it and supposedly everything works. Does anyone have interest in this thing? I will be taking pictures and can go back and look at it as many times as needed. I'll post pictures later tonight as well as the serial number. Let me know if you would like me to look at something specific.

The 3t will get it done, but it will be a little work for it. If you have a good scraper hand that loads her nice and easy, it will do it, but the 8 is a better match up. Ed Akin keeps talking about making a twin d8. I told him I'd go partners with him. That would be cool do watch a siemiese D8 loading it. Now were talking.-glen

Well here you go. I was very impressed with it. They guy told me that it had been sitting for 3 years. All tires still had air in them. Air cleaners and precleaners look nice. There was a tag on the pony mag from Central motive power in Denver. They do all of my fuel injector and pump work and do an excellent job. It was getting dark when I finally made it out there as I was unloading my truck and trailer from my Brooks trip. Serial number was 8?558. Not sure what was after the 8 prefix. CLearly there is some wear on the cutting edge, but it sure is an impressive machine. There are a few welds here or there, but it does not look abused. Look at the manifold picture, that should speak for itself. Let me know if anyone has interest. 7upuller, I can get it moved over to my place where it can sit for a while to give you some time to work out trucking to get it out your way. I do believe it would require a 3 axle tralier.

The missing s/n component would be the letter "W" for the first in the series built from 1951- 1955. Rated at 15 cu. yds. struck, 20 yds. heaped with a shipping weight of approx. 54,000 lbs.
