Going down to the show this morning to look at some old antique trucks. I know Orrin Stevens is there with big blue, and Fred Lowry is there with his Best Sixty, and I believe Larry Maasdam is there too. Hope to meet up with them all. Maybe I'll be able to post a few photos here tonight or tomorrow for your entertainment. Let us hope so. GWH

hey GWH, how did the show go?? Did you guys get any bad weather?? Most every time I planned on going to one here on the east coast, they get rain. I was planning on trailering my Freightliner out, but the price of diesel went crazy, and 6 days on the road plus the 3 or so for the show was just too much time to be away.
I met a fellow from your area a few years back, Don Chew from Colorado Springs, promised him if I was ever in the area I would stop in to visit. Figured it would be a good chance to make good on my promise. He was here in Maine for the truck show we have at the Owl's Head Museum. It was the first time he came out, not the time he drove out 3 or 4 years ago.
If you took any pictures of the trucks it would be appreciated, can't wait for the ATHS Showtime to come out.

Trucker1: The show started I think on Thursday, but it is restricted to ATHS members on Thursday and Friday, so not being a member, I went in with the general public on Saturday. It was a really nice day, sunny, warm, slight breeze. But by late afternoon, as often occurs in Colorado, there were a few drops of rain, some lightning and thunder, and that was just the time I was leaving. They had about 600 trucks at the show, making it a big show. I did take photos, but I am moving back to New York from Colorado, the truck arrives Thursday, and I leave sometime over the weekend. Unfortunately, I don't have time to post them, but as I'm travelling East and staying at motels, I will be able to post some photos (maybe next week) using my WiFi card at a motel. The show was a good time. Wish you were there. GWH

Moving back to NY??? Did Orrin whisper something in your ear?? If I had my choice I would be moving east to west, but not Colorado. No problem on the pictures, if you get a chance, that's all.

Trucker1, actually Orrin is here at my place, out visiting friends today. Just got a call that the trucker will not be here until Friday morning, running late. Many is the slip between cup and lip. GWH

    Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
