Do you know the application? and is that all the numbers? Usually Delco uses a 7-digit number.
I have starter parts listing back to 1934 but it does not show that number.
That starter comes up as a 1113039 on the Remy site and shows obsolete. No other info available.
It's on an IH power unit. U450 6 cylinder propane/natural gas. Beginning to pull lots of amps when cranking. Has just been in the shop, so I don't think there's much that can be done for it and they generator/starter guy seems not to be able to get anything for it anyway. A year ago he ordered a solenoid and it wouldn't fit.
There was some talk about using a 30MT or something like that on the Yesterday's tractors discussion board when I searched there today. Sure would be nice if that number would cross over to something new.
It has 113039 1787 on the tag. It's one with the exposed drive shift linkage/open plunger on the solenoid. I had seen that search result on the Delco website, but didn't catch the extra 1 at the beginning. I wonder how accurate that is because the old one certainly doesn't have that 1 on it. Probably like entering the old CAT parts numbers into the modern system, Have to have the right format.
Searching with 1113039, I find some foreign language websites that seem to indicate it's a 30MT series. I've got some of those around I can stick in it to see.
That 113039 doesn't fit anything in the Delco system....most likely miss stamped. I suspect your going to have to swap nose housings as there are lots of different versions.
