Hi Greg,
well Mate, that bought a tear to my eye.

I am a retired Dealer Serviceman with 43 years under my belt and can relate to all you have in your dedication song. I too saw the product line increase and evolve since 1962.

WELL DONE, and Thank You for posting it on ACMOC for all of us old Yellow Blooded Cat Fanatics to enjoy.

Regards,
Eddie Bedwell.

Eddie,
Thank you so much for your response...I was actually wondering if anyone was able to see the link....wasn't certain that it worked on here so I really appreciate your feedback. It has apparently been making the rounds within Caterpillar mfg. plants as I have received several internal messages from folks I currently, and have, worked with over the years. I have also a few other Caterpillar songs that I wrote and am actually scheduled to perform at Caterpillar tomorrow after and a training session I have been attending in Peoria Illinois for the past week. I sincerely appreciate your feedback.

Most Sincerely and Best Regards,

Greg

Hi again Greg,
I am sure I speak for many others here that we would love to hear your songs.
I am pleased to hear that your efforts and talents are being appreciated "in house" so to speak.
Many years ago I recall one Caterpillar tractor song that went around the traps, via Cat Australia. One of the instructors at a "Cat School" I was at played it, and, it was about a man who grew up with the big D8.
Well Done again.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

Greg,
Thanks for the song, great job and good picking.

Eddie B.
I have the “Big D-8” and the “Pusher Demonstration” on a old 45 r.p.m. record.
If my memory serves me right they were both written by Wes Holten in 1964 some 47 years a go. He was, as I recall a Cat mechanic that at one time worked of McCoy Co. here in Colorado.

Hi Kelly,
thanks for the info on the "Big D8" Boy it sure was a while ago now. The recording I heard was possibly pirated from somewhere as it was only one song and on cassette tape.
I tried Utube but came up blank, yet to do a Google.
Anyway, great memories of an earlier time in the passage of life.
Thanks.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
