Howdy folks

Can anyone advise me on how to adjust the steering brakes on a D5 S/N 54H240??? which is the Australian made version of the American made 84H.

Cheers

Adjustment instructions:

1. Adjust brakes when pedal travel reaches 6 to 6-1/4 inches.
2. Remove guard and cover and tighten brake band adjustment nut (doesn't say how tight)
3. Loosen locknut and tighten screw underneath the tractor (steering clutch compartment) then back the screw off 1-1/2 turns and tighten locknut.
4. Now back off the nut in step 2 three turns.
That's it.......

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
