Here is a few pictures of 3J-1. Bill's R2 that was at the San Martin, CA Tractor Show. If you notice, this tractor has never been restored. It still has the Shepherd Tractor decal from Santa Anna, CA with a five didget phone number on the gas tank and the back of the seat. Bill did replace the wood on the top of the canopy. In two of the pictures you'll see a marvel mysery oil ejector system. It was on the tractor when Bill picked it up in a subdivision in Santa Anna, CA. Oh! The CAT light brackets. (A very interesting tractor). Frank

The light brackets I believe are off a Caterpillar grader.

The light bracket, was part of the R2 Canopy Top Group, for the rear light. Lots of great pictures of them used the on the front in the Iconografix book "Circus and Carnival Tractors". Brought alot of interest at the show also.:)

I have seen these brackets on the larger tractors as part of a radiator guard group, the guard bolts to the bumper and is wider than the radiator interfearing with the lower mounting for the lights.
