I freind of mine made a visit to Roger Martins place and brought back a picture of a unique Cat powered by a ford engine (I think). If I am not mistaken the Cat is a Model 28, just thought you might enjoy looking at it.

Hi, Chriscokid.
Desecration! Utter, unforgivable desecration.

Is this another case of necessity being the mother of invention? Or something like that? I have always believe that you do what you can with what you have BUT................?

F-O-R-D.

Found on rubbish dump.
Full of rust'n'defects
For old retired dudes.
Fix or repair daily.
'Failed' on race day.
Feeble, Over-Rated, Dangerous

If'n yer turn those same letters back ter front, yer git:

Driver Returned On Foot.

How-wevver, it IS a statistical fact that 87% of all Fords ever made are still on the road.

(Er, Bruce, does that qualify as 'flaming' or any of the other BB sins? :behindsofa: )

It does show some ingenuity though. Thanks for sharing.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Deas,

you never know what the person is thinking when he "thinks" he has a good idea.
Judging by the pic i would say the ford engine did not work to well because the gousers look like new.

Forgot to mention, try not to pick on Bruce to hard he has had his hands full lately, and his professionalism has been outstanding.

Hi, Chriscokid.
I have the utmost respect for Bruce and especially for the job he has done over the last couple of weeks. I know it hasn't been easy. I am a moderator on another forum and have had to be a part of a couple of bannings. It is not something that I take lightly and I doubt Bruce would take it lightly either.

Are you going to be anywhere near Woodland on the first weekend of July?

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Yes, being a moderator can be a difficult job, one that I do not wish to do.
Bruce has stated many times that Banning is the last resort.
I sent you an email about woodland.

Hi, RonM.
Do I detect a Ford fan in the forum? I have owned one Ford and, although it broke down a lot, it still couldn't even qualify as the most 'broken-down' vehicle I ever owned. It could only manage second place. The top spot goes to an English-built Leyland Marina, surely one of the worst vehicles that God ever let anybody pump gas into.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

I had an '85'. Should have kept it and restored it. Hindsight is 20/20. Gotta admit Ford has not let me down yet!:car::car::car:
