Was lucky to find this jewell in the next town, had driven by it for years and never realized it was there untill one day I happened to find it in the local classifieds for sale, and jumped all over it. Bought it for scrap price, both engines are free, it appears to have a recent bottom, has all the original tags (even on The CAT blade) and has a little over 4000hrs. on it. Future project maybe or I just might get it running and sell it.👍

Nice tractor.
Great find, it's good that you saved it. What's the serial number? It looks very much like my D2 #5U7066, even has the same #44 hydraulic unit and 2S blade.

Good catch I can't believe I didn't notice that, I almost feel out of my chair laughing. Guess it really doesn't matter they need to come off anyway as its been sitting so long that the bottom links are froze up.😆

maybe the bushings were worn so they reversed them to make them last a little longer.

You're right, it is a 1951 (#5U6672 to #5U9170).
