Does anyone know if this Undercarriage Wear Gauge Set came with a small instruction booklet or was it covered in anotherlarger manual that didn't fit in the gauge pouch? I am talking about the type pictured at ebay # 380272279496 Any information would be appreciated. Thank You, W. SMITH

There might be some sort of instruction sheet for them but I have never seen one. The notes on the gauges are pretty self explanatory.
Here is a chart for measuring pin and bushing wear.

D4Jim, Thank you for your answer and posting of the chart. I have a newer Caterpillar Track Service Manual but I am trying to find something older like when these template style gauges were made. I agree with you that the gauges explain a lot with the information that is written on them. I am just trying to find out everything that I can about them. The little pouch seems to have one extra slot for maybe a small booklet but I too have never seen such a book. Thank You, W. SMITH

Here is what I have, it's a lousy picture but I can't remember where I got
it to get a better one. I have not seen the brochure/s either.

Thanks Old Magnet for your posting. Your pic shows what I suspected that there was some information that came with these Undercarriage Wear Gauge sets. W.SMITH

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
