The pony on my D8-2u leaks alot of oil. Thats ok for now,but as I have been running it the oil dissapears quickly. Its not burning it and I dont see alot leaking . Didnt the pony engine used to be tied with the main engine oil supply at one time? Thanks Tim

Not to my knowledge has the main engine oil been used by the pup motor on a D2. You might want to check your main engine for signs of oil in the coolant since they share the same cooling system. Could have a crack in the pup block some where.😞😞

No, the 2U never had the common oil system....that came later.
Got to be going somewhere, have you noticed any change in oil levels in the main or leakage from the main clutch housing? Does share the cooling system, anything going on there?
