This Cat 15 was sold today at auction in Gettysburg for $3,400. year 1929. Fired on the first crank, would have stayed running if he could have gotten the choke off quick enough.

We picked up a parts 15, sorry no pictures yet, is relatively complete except for manifold. Has a belt pulley setup on it. Anyone have an idea what the belt pully set up is worth?

We also picked up the International T-6 (gas) with blade. runs decent, steering clutches and everything seem to be working fine. $850. Not yellow, but will still be fun to play around with. After some research, we beleive that the blade is a combination farm dozer, tool bar. Similar to what Cat offered, but this one you have to disconnect and back out of, turn around and hook back up.

the 15 was owned by the farm, which held the sale, since the early 1950's and was used by them to pull logs out of the woods to their sawmill and for work in the fields.

The person who bought it has a railray track business in Mechanicsburg, PA

After uncovering the 15 from the wired on sheet metal, we hook it up to the T6 and it rolled freely. Found a wood box beneath the 15 filled with pistons, rods and miscellaneous other parts. The only thing that intially appears to be missing is the exhaust manifold. Other than that, I don't think it is too bad of a machine for $550.

Photos show the journey from the woods where it was stored for who know how long to where we loaded it onto the trailer.
