I know this is off topic, but a friend of mine has a Fiat-Allis 10c dozer, and we are trying to find out what kind of oil to put in the transmission. If anybody on here knows or can help us, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance........................Barry Franklin

I'm not an expert, but I have a 14C. The operators manual calls for the following lubricants:

Engine -"EO". EO = 15/40 wt engine oil

Transmission hydraulic system-"EO". EO= 15/40 wt engine oil

Final drives- "MGO". MGO = multi purpose gear oil

Transmission torque converter - "TF". TF = transmission fluid. Says use "ATF type A, Suffix A, or C-3 transmission fluid".

Dozer hydraulic system says one of the followng: "Engine oil MIL-L-210C, API, CD Type C-3 Trans FLuid TO-2 qualified, API, CD".

This is for a 1987 14C with an Iveco engine. Your 10C may be different. Proceed accordingly. The 14C machines would overheat due to radiator plugging. Watch your temp gauge. Good luck!
