Looking for correct measurements for decals as fitted to Caterpillar machines in the late 1960's the so called "packman " style
The large white C with machine type and letter,eg D4D.with a black lined border.
Can anyone help ?

All the black and white stencil C style decals are still available through your Cat dealer, D4D decals maybe aswell but if they are not the parts guy can go into the NPR and give you a length and height. I bought the below decals this year from my Cat dealer so sometimes you have a bit of luck.

My wife is an very good sign painter so she made me a stensil that allowed me to paint mine on my D4. The paint holds up much better than the cheap plastic that go south in the sun and get damaged by sticks and branches. Charlie

Charlie, would you give details on how your wife makes stencils and she uses them? What type paint does she use?
