Thanks I can't tell you how thrilled I was, especially since he sold it to me for scrap price. The best $230.00 I ever spent. I've changed the tires and some wheel bearings and the cylinders need refreshed but it was a great deal.

Very cool indeed. It is interesting how many small scrapers there are that mimic their big brothers. Outstanding save.

once in a lifetime find and deal of a life time i would give $2300 yet alone $230glad you found what you were looking for.

The tractor gods weren't as kind for us.
We got a phone call a couple years ago about a tractor sitting atop a scrap pile 20 feet high, said to look like a lightweight rumley oilpull. Well sadly it was an X oilpull, it had been found just alittle to late because the scrapyard had rough housed her quite a bit. All that remained was the frame, transmission/rearend, and the rear wheels. Looking at the the remains made us sick it was obviously a complete tractor when it arrived. You could see where the sheet metal had been bolted, front axle, engine, etc. They had just torn the pieces off with an excavator with a iron working claw.
We saved what was left and its now part of a 75% complete model X oilpull
