I need to finding a carb kit for my D2 5U model, It was made in 1948, Here are some pictures of it and if anyone could tell me where I could get a Kit I would sure appreciate it.

The D2 & D4 both have the same starting engine & carb. but right off hand I don,t know where they are available but someone will come back to you as they are discussed quite often on here where they are available.

If it is the 5F 3527 (should have a little round tag, I think located above the carb bowl) then the carb gasket set kit is part number RE 528699 and available through your local John Deere dealership parts. I know, I know, but John Deere is good for something I think.😮

There is a excellant thread or two on the BB that discusses this carb that is well worth reading.
