hi folks,
does anyone have a clear photo of the 'engaging lever' on a D4 7U single-speed pto?
i'm having trouble finding one, so may need to fabricate. the parts book doesn't really show the bend angles well.
part # 3B 1169 (lever) and #3B1168 (2x brackets).
thanks.
rgds from NZ,
peter.

At one time I was running this fabricated version....had to redesign later when I added 3-pt and side tank.

I didn't think much of those angle iron support brackets so fabricated the supports you see with blind tapped holes that use the seat tank mounting bolts along with nylon bushings for the control rod.

Old Magnet would you have any of the pictures showing the 3 pt you installed
that we could view?

Mike,
Did you check the archives?? there were progress pictures posted when fabrication was in progress (several years ago)

If you can't find them I can re post some.

Check the current post on "D4 Service".

I recall a statement from Joe B saying everything was saved๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„

This is how all of the shortcuts I've saved from the old board come up. Combined with all of the photo's that people have removed due to space limitations, a lot of history is non-existent.
Hope it's somewhere. Wasn't this part of what the ACMOC board payed to have done? Who dropped the ball?

It's more of a case of no one picked up the ball๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ™„
I quit carping about it a long time ago as it was/is not a politically correct topic.

I know you have OM. A lot of what is missing has come from you, glad you had the insite to archive what you have. Don't mean to hijack this thread but
it comes up over and over again. Guess it isn't important until it happens to you.
If there is some way I can help get it back let me know. Will start a new thread.
