Went to the site last night with Ed Ponte to scope out the site. 15' cuts; 10' fills. 15,000 cubic yards of dirt to move. I'll have my D4-7u & 40 scraper, D6-9u & 60 scraper, D7-17a & 70 scraper ready to play. I just bought a 435-E scraper today, and tomorrow I am looking at a 14-a. Maybe by event time I'll have the set up ready.

We will start at 7:30 am May 16th & 17th. Four week ends planned work. All tractors welcome, all people welcome. Turn onto the gravel road and go 1/4 mile when you see the mail box to 3641 Middle Two Rock Rd, Petaluma, Ca. 94952-glen

Glen, one of these days I will have my D2 and LaPlante C-20 rigged, and then you can have the whole lineup. It sounds like you guys will be having a good time.

Hi, Glen,
Sounds like you guys are gonna have way too much fun again. (Is there such a thing as TOO MUCH fun?) I know where there is a 90 scraper if you can con the current owner into parting with it. Ed Akin had one in his back paddock the day we were there. Now that would be an interesting set up to run.

Happy hunting for the 14A. And have some fun for me too.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Hi, Glen.
I'd love to jump the pond and be assigned a scraper but my employer here has assigned me a 943 track loader and actually has the audacity to expect me to make it work to earn him money in return for paying me for my time and experience. The hide of the bloke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL.

Just have more than enough fun for both of us, huh?

I'm looking at jumping the pond again in June next year for a show just down South of Tom's little hideaway. I'm hoping to be able to stay over your side for between 2 and 2 1/2 weeks and fill in some of the gaps in Ca. that I haven't seen yet. That will only leave 49 other states after that. LOL.

I noticed Hwy 37 will be closed Fri., Sat., and Sun. nights for repaving through June. http://www.dot.ca.gov/dist4/37resurfacing/37detours.htm Closure times according to the newspaper but not mentioned on the website are 10 p.m. each night and reopening at 8 a.m. Sat., 9 a.m. Sun. and 5 a.m. Mon. I mention this because 37 is one main route to Glen's big dig from the east and south.

Hi Glen,
Are you still willing to show me how to operate your D4 and Scraper at the Playday? I promise I won't try and make too big a fool out of myself. See you on Sat. 😄
