Thanks for the Info on FUEL TANKS,, I am currently looking into fuel tank sealer, I have been looking at a FROST product, which is a 3 part thing, 1st a tank wash, then a tank etch, and then a sealer, the cost was looking expensive.
Matt sorry for getting into this "off topic" rad sealant thread, the last fuel tank sealant system I used was from FROST it very good but expensive. I sand blaster the best I could the inside of the tank, and then applied the coating system. I ended up with a Latex Type White Seal, all inside the fuel tank. 20 years later its still the same inside the fuel tank (machine stored in shed), I guess the outer skin of tin will go 1st, leaving me with a thin plastic tank. So yeap, if it withstands Fuel I cannot see it being a Problem for water rad Tanks. I am looking at buying in bulk some fuel tank sealant System soon Not only to cover small Pin Holes in a Gas Tank. But Mainly to stop Further Corrosion inside the Fuel tank, and give a modern Internal Plastic Type Coating, which also stops rustry particles from entering the fuel pipeline, etc, ie before the fuel filters etc, nothing worse than a piece of rust about 0.020th thick, acting as a flap on the fuel tank outlet LOL.
Thanks for the info CM
