If you read the article from the link above, at the end, it reports that the new administration in Washington will be doing something to save the day. Am I the only doubter? :>) GWH

Are they playing chicken with EPA over emission laws on truck engines?? They are going to stop all production of truck engines new and old soon. How long will our goverment let this go on? The new emission laws are to strict. When one of the worlds largest engine manufactures says they can't make money building truck engines something is wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you know the EPA wants to TAX farmers $175 per methane producing cow PER year!!!! 😮
I talked to a trucker yesterday who was hauling 2 or 3 times a day out of Waukesha Engine (CAT's Natural Gas Engine competitor), He said since the first of the year he has been in there only one week.
Times are tough!!!! 😠

I was talking to my cat dealer yesterday and they have had a lot of layoffs. The 20,000 is only coporate cat. Giles and Ransome totally got rid of the second and third shifts. Hard to believe they are running only one shift!

Yes Catmatt, I can see where dealers like Ransome or Cleveland Bros. that I worked for are laying off help. Many years ago Ransome used to bring engines up to our Wilkes Barre branch and I,d dyno test them for them.Later they installed their own dyno I understand.
