I just got 2 15s from NewYork and I cant find the s/n on either one of them my other 15 is on the side of the block just like my ten but i tore the carb apart today and I noticed it was brass and thought that this might be an early 15 any way to really tell? I also found a # stamped into the sediment bowl/ drain for the gas and it is 3003 it was on the back close to the block and it apears to be the same size and numbering that cat used on my other pv 15 for the s/n. I am not to sure so thought I would ask you guys. None of my other sediment bowls have anything stamped in them exept drain daily. This tractor also has a pto. I think I will nickname this one the snow cat since it came from snow country. Sorry for the pics took with my phone and the # on the bowl is hard to see. Thanks,Jason

Hello, Check on the left front side of engine block below the generator mounting area, check the generator mounting area ( machined surface), check right hand headlight mount on radiator side, check on machined surface to the left and behind the steering clutch levers. And sometimes its stamped on top of transmission under the seat. Caterpillarman

Yes they were the 2 on yesterdays tractors the better one is all there and the undercarrige is decent but it needs all new sheet metal. Still looking for the s/n with not much luck. It does have an all brass carb so that is a plus. Have a happy new year an hopefully more cats to play with! Jason
