We had those in the tool box on the M48 tanks.
I fell heir to one later, but it had been used on a D7 and pretty well sprung beyond use, wound up in the scrap. They work pretty good but don't get rediculous about the power you put on it, lest it join mine in the junk!
I used to sell government surplus and those track tools were very common to come by. I used one on my D8 14A and it worked well. I never abused it and it is still working well for my D4 7U. I would not be without one.
You used this little tool on D7 tracks!!!!! No wonder it broke!
I don't know I used one many times on my M1 tank that they were designed for. Not a lot of fund breaking track but the Track Jack is indespensable when doing it.
We have a tool sort of like that, but a little smaller for pulling potato chain and belted chain together.
Nah, I didn't use it on D7 tracks. It came with a D7 and the last owner had already sprung it. I sure did want to try it but it was just too shot to work.
