Come on Gee! That will definitely become a "trailer queen".
Looks good!
I am cheating. None of my precleaners here are very pretty; I will use the round Donaldson type for the time being. The replacement battery box is too nice to put a battery inside of it; amazing what a good sand blast and paint can do for some items. Just imagine how a "nice" tractor would look if I had it done 100%.
Soon time to rub the paint off of the pads. JM
Trailer Queen - haha
He has a D4 with "chrome" and tied to a 40 scraper. This one says, take a place at the end of the line, I'm the QUEEN!
Have to ponder something here - paint the pads and then before it dries, go shine them up? Is that akin to waxing the Rolls Royce Silver Ghost and taking it through the muddy back roads on a rainy day?
CTS
Looks good! Hard to imagine that is the same machine.
Hi, CTS.
Methinks that the juice hauler may have a tad too many sheckels in his bin, painting tracks that he plans on shining up again. Does he also pay for a business class seat and then sit in the 'cattle cart' section?
This kew-ree-yuss mind would like to know - - - - but won't lose any sleep over it.
Just my 0.02.
It’s hard to put a shine on any pads here due to the low use my iron gets. Usually the shiny ones are the larger heavier tractors that really bite into the loamy soils here.
I might send Fugly #1 to the “Dig” at Tulare this year and rub some paint off in that sandy stuff.
I scrounged up some old decals and a 40 year old can of black paint. A few more things to button it up for the time being. JM![]()
That tractor looks darned pretty to me, JM : ) Might need a new name - "Show Pony" perhaps? : )
