]Got a busted final drive housing (where it bolts to pivot shaft block) and I need to pull the final. Any tips/tricks I should know about before starting this job?

Start by removing the seat and fenders.
Crib up the tractor securely.
Break track, lay that out.
Remove track frame: Diagonal brace, I guess the part that's broken doesn't need the bolts removed. Get the leaf spring out of the way too by lifting the front of the tractor up.
Looks like you have some of the bolts out on the trunnion bar. get that stuff out of the way.
Remove break pedal linkage.
Take the 12- 1/2" bolts out that go into the main transmission case. Do Not remove the 3/8" bolts from the bull gear case.
Find a suitable hoist , attach a lifting eye in one of the big bolt holes from the seat box mounting angles.
Hammer, pry or whatever it takes to break the final drive from the transmission case. Note, There's two 1/2" alignment dowel pins that most likely will give you a little trouble.
Once broken free; Lift the entire final straight out to clear the steering clutch packs.
