A public service announcement from JuiceMan:
Plowing Bee’s this fall in Washington state.
looks like fun.
Anyone able to chime in about either of them?
BP, are you out there?
Thanks for lurking! JM

Juiceman. The Morgan plowing Bee is a lot of fun, you see everything from kids on Farmall Cubs to grey haired guys on 60s and RD7s. Last year it made me feel good to see that there is a younger generation that is interested in this and not just a bunch of older guys trying to bring back the old days for a day. This piece of ground is perfect it has flat ground for the kids with wheel tractors and hill ground for the CATS to make them Bark! Last year was a Fun day it doesn’t hurt that it’s less than 5 miles from my house. 17afarmer. Mike

Thank you 17A. Nice to see various generations having fun, not just grey haired 60ish year olds like me!
Down here in sunny California, we are trying to put together a plow day sometime in the fall when harvest winds down for some of us.
Possible locations so far: Modesto, Walnut Grove or Wheatland.
Some wanting a get together with tractors, food and friendship before the new year resumes. JM

Might try a crazy pilot's farm off of Faust Rd., between 99 and I-5 off of 132, or even Escalon. I wouldn't mind Walnut Grove, but for folks unfamiliar with the "islands", it can be intimidating and I would have to do a lot of traffic control. Nice big 150 spot we can use a lot of, since they plan on having a laser unit come in as well. Then again, I might get too many scraper guys wanting to dig a deep hole for them.

Hi JM. Morgan’s is a good time. I might try and take the Thirty up this year. I’ve never been to Colby’s plow day, but I hear it’s fun. There is another plow day up on the Palouse too. I’ll see if I can get the info for it. I’ve got a part time job with another farmer this fall, so I’m not sure how much plow time I’ll have.
BP.

That trailer is a work of art. Drive on from the rear, drive off from the front

That is a rear load and unload trailer only . Those extensions on the front are for extensions forward not ramps.Geez

Oh ok thanks, from the photo it looked like a detachable, my bad...Still, if there was such a beast, that would be great for difficult to back trailing plows and such
Cheers,
