D6 9U pony exhaust? was created by rodneyr
Is anybody making these, or maybe there are some parts machines with a good used exhaust?  Mine has been fixed several times and the hot air goes through the pipes by osmosis anymore......  I only use it a few times a year, but it has to work.  7f4944 exit the diesel intake manifold and goes up through the hood.  7f2456 collects the exhaust on the pony, and sends it into the diesel intake.

they are possibly unobtainium now. but a local exhaust shop should be able to put new pipe on your flanges or make copies. use aluminised exhuast tube. or you can go for stainless but not really worth it.

fit a frog flap if you dont have one already keep the moisture out and save your motor. also check the condition of the pipe through the intake manifold if its religious it needs new pipe.

I don't have the parts book, so a picture or two would be helpful.

I took a couple pics.  Ignore the wire around the pipe.

Which pipe? Both of them? There are two different ones there. The first shot with the tape measure is a pipe with only one bend that goes from the diesel intake to up through the hood. The other is the complicated one the goes from each side of the pony, joins together and enters the diesel intake.
