50th Pear Fair Courtland, CA

I had a curious person or two inquire about this years 50th Pear Fair, so here goes:
***Courtland, California*** Always the last Sunday of July, which is 7-28-24, is the date of the Pear Fair, jogging contest, parade and other activities.
Chapter 15, aka Cal-Sierra Tracklayers Inc., along with friends and supporters of our love of old iron, will put on a static display of various makes of tractors (tracks/rubber) as well as some shiny trucks. Our display is set at the main entrance of the Pear Fair from the "parking lot", so we are not hard to miss. Come on by and say hello, come check out the iron, sit a awhile and share some good times with us. Great family fun, just a nice small town celebration of the pear industry!
***Some changes to this year: Being the 50th Pear Fair, their committee has decided to have live music on Saturday July 27 from 2-7pm***There will NOT be a sponsors/volunteers dinner this year because of the live band(s).***
This also means that anyone wishing to be part of our display will now have to show up Saturday earlier than usual, or the wee hours of Sunday morning...Sorry, I am just the messenger***
