I am having trouble trying to figure out the model number of this CCU. I believe it is off of a 1960 D7 17A from the factory. When I got the machine this was at another location but was said to have been on the machine when the second owner purchased it. Anyway, the SN tag is pretty hard to read but it may be 398710 or 308710 or 398710 0r what I think is a 3 might be a 9. I want to order a manual for it, it is a double spool if that helps.    Thanks!

That's 3D8710 or 3B8710.

Closer inspection revealed 9D8710. There are several parts books on eBay, here's one:

Some paint softener would help so that overspray could be wiped off - the tag might become more legible

Well snap, I just realized I have that parts book in my #1 list of manuals for sale w/pictures in the For Sale/ Wanted section page #6.
It's cheap! Send me a PM.

I only have the parts book. I looked in the ACMOC library and we don't have a copy of the OMI for the NO. 25 CCU yet. I did find this one on eBay:
