Yes they seem to be aluminum alloy. There’s few different styles of this pre-cleaner some slip in the pipe and there is a clamp around it. some like this one the clamp is part of the aluminum alloy. Nice accessory for a Orchard tractor
Like 10s 15s 20s 30s. Maybe the SoCal Cat man if he has the one that’s in the picture and get that one to you or a blueprint. . Skinner

Cat Cave starting a new chapter. Chapter “DUCKBILLS & SPARK ARRESTORS”..
We have decided a couple of these Duckbills will look nice on a couple of our Orchard Tailseat machines. Yesterday we requested the Blue Prints for Different Versions for Cat 10s 15s 20s 30s. 35 . 40/R5.
We are also tooling up to cast Spark Arrestors for gas cats.
Both of these parts are simple parts compared to the inlet manifolds the cat-cave is currently remanufacturing.
Anyone else Interested in Duck Bills or Spark Arrestors. Just let me know.
Skinner, SoCalCatMan. How many of these Duckbills do you require for your collection ?
Lance, are you working to a sample. Cat Cave is Approved by Cat Inc for Re Manufacturing back to Blue Print Data.
Lance, How is your Cat Cave Manifold for your R5 Machine ?. would be nice to see a photo of your R5 with the Cat Cave Manifold. I am looking forward to getting my Gas 35, Gas 40. And R5 up and running, all three have the Rear Start and Laplante Blade units. Due to the Shipping costs associated with transport over the pond. I Kept the Best A frame and Best Blade. And after trying to sell the other two A frames and Two Blades State side. I ended up Sending them to Scrapmen State Side. Gas 40 with Full Belly Pan Guard and front tow hook Like 10ft plus Blade and rear start. Looks a nice example of an early Cat BullDozer.
Oilcan47, Can you Scan and Print an Exhaust and Inlet Manifold ?. I would like to see How its Dun. Cat Cave go back to the Blue Print Data including the manufacturing Processes used in the factory production. We Do use Modern Spectrographs to analyse the secret Cat materials used in parts we manufacture. I have seen on TV, a 3D Printed MacDonalds Big Mac, which was Plant Based and actually edible. What next.

a local model engineer has been using 3d printed plastic to make patterns for sand cast parts. he said it was much easier than carving them from timber. you use a program such as free cad to do the 3d drawing and then print that using the 3d printer sand it smooth and you now have your pattern. a job you could set running while you do other "work"
wouldnt it be nice to have a 3d printer that could print casting sand and binder mix directly to form molds.
