Where to look for part# on crankshaft and liner?

More

I need to know where to look for part#s on 1940s crankshaft (3cyl.)  for  Diesel 40/RD6/D6. Same question for Liners. I sure hate to remove the protective coatings on said items. And, I just measured (1H5888) piston dia. (not with the proper tool) and got 5.720 in. and measured the Int. Dia of the liner and got (not with proper tool) 5.740 in. I guess my question is, what would be the expected piston to liner gap for such an engine as described above?
