Looks like a rod left the crank at one time.. Ouch!Just like the title says, can this be fixed? I haven't gone to look at it, so I'm not sure if there's water in the oil or vise versa. Just wondering, in general, if this is fixable. I realize if it can be fixed that it's a job for a skilled welder, of course. I can stick weld, but I'd hire this out.
Thanks,
Scott

I hope the seller tells you everything you need to know before you hand over $. A friend bought a tractor close by, and AFTER he paid, the seller rattled off a long list of things broken or wrong with the tractor... HUH? All of the newly gained cash apparently jogged him memory. Hahaha. Sad, but true.
Enjoy your new project, should you get it. JM
wow, ain't that the truth JMan...! how much better their memory gets??
-the take away:
-ask a lot of questions, if you don't know, take somebody with you who does...
-if the answers are vague and evasive....not adding up....run...Forrest...run!!
-never be rushed or pushed into a pressure sale etc...
-and many more..

I see you have a youtube channel. As you probably know, views come from overcoming adversity (the old "will it start" approach), so if you want the views, get the clunker with the cracked block and make a lot of episodes of how you got it going despite its flaws

Hi Juiceman -Bulletpruf: I had a moment to watch your YouTube video last night. Very nice.
As far as asking questions: I see no reason not to inquire. The latest D4 here? I bought it over the phone, and asked as much I deemed necessary; my driver (tracklayer nut in training) asked questions as well, and things did not add up. I did not get hurt by what I had already purchased, but would have been happier for a bit "more" transparency. I just have to smear extra lipstick on the pig to make it more attractive to me. Hahaha. "I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
