Went to look at a few Cats with some friends. 7J 22 and an RD4. I had been right next to the RD4 many times and never saw it. This time i went a few feet further and there it was.
Not sure what is going to happen with any of these, they are for sale, just thought i'd post some pics. The blade on the 7J and the 22 are real pieces of work:eek: Don

Amazing how stout the radiator supports are on a early cat and how everybody it seems uses them for an attachment point for everything when they were origonally intended for a work lamp.

Don, how many thousands of road miles do they have to re-grease the bearings on that (trunion) mount? That fabricator was quite ingenious.

Al, not sure if they are that strong, if the blade ever got in a bind i am pretty sure the whole radiator would be on the ground:eek:
Bruce, according to the servicemans referance book, never:D
King, don't know the story on the gear box or spindels, other than i am pretty sure alchohol was involved:D Don
