Cab interior is coming along well with WesTrac contributing significantly to it with new hoodlining, floormat and other accessories, genuine glass has also been sourced for the 3 front windows and door bottoms and that is going back in with new rubbers

All filters have been changed including the 1997 installed inner air filter along with sourcing NOS 1P2299 fuel filters and a 2P4005 eng oil filter to add some neat period correct touches to the machine. An original unstamped Waugh & Josephson dealer ID plate was also sourced and i just stamped it today to again add some period correct detail to the machine as it was sold new by W & J in 1980. And a full set of service and operational manulas along with parts books has been donated by Paul Doig.

And last weeks activity was to begin fitting the ripper back on. New pin retainer plates and bolts sourced, pins and bores all cleaned up and all grease passages checked and repaired, grease seals replaced and 4 cylinders resealed, will fit them all up this weekend and finish the cab fit out and she will be ready for Clarendon show.

Superb work! I’d recommend these guys if they’re anywhere near you for solid practical solutions to any problems you’ve got; www.cuttingedgeengineering.com.au/ Probably miles away as everything is in Australia!
***Hey, Chapter 29! That is one very cool project. I would love to see it one day in person. Lots of love and dedication; go big or go home...LOL.
Deebo: That gentleman makes everything look so easy. I wished I had 1/100th of his skills. I always look forward to his videos. JM

And the last big job before the first show, refitment of the single shank ripper, looking like a proper D9H now!
