D4 5T Clutch Brake

D4 5T Clutch Brake was created by carlsharp
The old D4 has no clutch brake function to speak of. Is there an adjustment? And in the meantime, is there any trick to stop the trans from spinning? Once in a while I'll miss that clean shift and it takes forever to stop. I guess the bearings are good!

Thanks

Hi Carl,
You can fiddle with the threaded yoke adjustment down in the clutch hole to get the best range of travel to activate the brake and over center function and the position of the clutch hand lever. Check the wear on the brake shoes....they should be replaced if worn down to the flat head screws.
