Found this ole girl, just had to get it! You know how that is. Its a "39" DDH model, undercarriage is in very good shape. It's like my dad had years ago but I would like to find a blade like he had on his.

The blade on your dad's machine look the same as the Holt blade I have on my JD 40C not sure if the Cletrac is the same dimensions but might be able to make one work if you can find one from one of them.

Good catch. Looks like you had one bottle too much of milk, or the exhaust fumes put you to sleep! LOL. Memories...I love it. My memory of not ever riding or sitting on our HD-3 Allis Chalmers bothers me still. It was the only tractor I recall not ever getting to sit, or even ride on when my family owned it. Even when it was parked, I never climbed aboard to play on it.
I will make up for it somehow!
I bet guys from PA such as Jim Duffy or Bob Burkhouse would be all over that Cletrac. They love that brand. JM

1939 is the first year of that model with the 6 speed transmission, 4 forward and two reverse. Cletrac did not make blades. The blades were added by the dealer that sold the tractor and usually obtained from local suppliers. Nice find!!

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
