Hello,i've spent a few days in northern France, Normandy, during the Normandy landing commemoration, (6th of June). And i saw some preserved Cats : two D7, 1 D8 and 1 R4. Hope you'll enjoy the pictures ! I also took some pictures of pictures in the different museums i visited. It was really a good trip and very moving to see the importance and implication of US intervention during WW2 !The first D7 stays just near Arromanches beach and seems to be a 4T.The other one was in the Bayeux museum and i couldn't see the serial number but it appears that the engine came from an industrial engine (6S...) and was converted to bolted sprockets ! meaning it was probably used years and years after it's arrival on Normandy !The D8 is probably a 14A and dates back to the fiftys. And finally a R4 converted to Diesel ! It's the third one i see in France : i don't really now how they manage to do such a transformation ! And how this engine would start without glow plugs.Enjoy !

Very cool pics, thanks for sharing, interesting to see another American Car and Foundry (ACF) D7-6T I think!
