Looking at buying an e70 excavator.  It looks pretty good in the pictures but just wondering if anyone has any direct experience with this machine

Well I looked at the little excavator and everything seemed in order so the deal was done. The fellow was a hotshot driver so we packaged delivery into the deal.
There are no leaks and it hasn't been hacked on. Also has a decent paint job and some upgrades to the stickers. Somebody had to much time!
So far on closer inspection the only thing I have found is the top roller on one side is locked up and has been that way for awhile so that will need replaced.
It's a dinosaur, slow and clunky with full pressure controls. It's like rowing a boat. I love it.
Main reason for the purchase was the longer reach and little more power the the 35 we currently have.
The 410 wheel backhoe is heavy enough but just can't climb some of the draws on our property. Oh yeah and it has a CHROME stack

Sticker upgrades are hilarious - still, it looks better than a rusty oily old piece of junk
