CAT 22 spark plug cover

More

I am finally getting around to putting my spark plug cover on my 22 and I lost the studs that go into the block. My memory says they are fine thread on one end and coarse on the other. Can anyone give me the correct dimensions or have a spare set they would sell. The tractor is about 50 miles from home and I don't there very often in the fall.
Thanks

Yes they are course on one end and fine on the other. I will get you part numbers here later today. Cat still has them.

The R2 shows just 3/8"D. X 3/4"long bolts for the plug wire tube clips.I,d think you could use bolts too and if there is spacers between the clamp and block you,d need bolts a little longer. I don,t have a 22 book so can,t check just what setup they have for sure.

There are 3 different lengths. The middle two are the same. The front one is rather short. And the rear one is a middle length. But I believe SJ is right, they are all 3/8" fasteners.

Wyo, I should have said they are standard 16 threads on the 3/8" bolts.

Hi biggastractor,

Serial number 2F1087 and later and all 1J serial numbers use part number L-2332 at the rear of the head, part number B107 in the center two positions, and T101 at the front of the head. The early 2F series used L-468 at the rear of the head with the other three parts being the same as the later tractors. Four 1B4203 nuts are required.

I am going to need a set of them too. I will try Capital Equipment here in East Peoria, but I have lots of other things to do before I need them.

Regards,
Lee
